Apply for a Fiscal Sponsorship

TCALT’ s fiscal sponsorship program works with organizations that share our vision of sustaining and improving land access.  Examples of organizations that we partner with include, groups that:

•  Establish and maintain community gardens
• Hold events and programming aimed at centering underserved diverse communities
• Provide education and resources on land use & access
• Advocate for equitable land use and access
• Foster public policy engagement around land use and access

Partnering with TCALT as your fiscal sponsor allows you to support your mission while lessening the administrative burdens of starting a new nonprofit. The benefits of partnering with TCALT as your fiscal sponsor include:

•   Ability to accept tax deductible donations without having your own 501(c)(3) status
• Access to a checking account with online platform through desktop or mobile application
• Bookkeeping prepared by our accountant using QuickBooks with customized financial reports
• Grant writing guidance & feedback
• Periodic meetings with our leadership team providing a multi-directional mentorship
